If you’re a fan of the Warcraft franchise then you ought to be excited for the movie release (although I’m still nervous about the stigma of games-made-into-a-movie).

Did you see him??? There is the briefest of glimpses of Medivh! I hope he is as awesome as he appears in that trailer!
I’ll admit the Warcraft movie looks pretty good. I hope it changes the stigma of pretty much all games-made-into-movies from the past. I doubt this will be as good as The Force Awakens, but that’s probably because I’m a much bigger fan of Star Wars than I am of Warcraft (and I seriously doubt it will make $900 million). Issue 126: Holy Cow, that was a crazy Gamescom! I think Blizzard definitely stole the show but everyone knew it was going to happen, which is why I think so many other companies had a lot of their own products to talk about. The increase in interest gave them the perfect arena to market their games too. There will be some residual posts below from the final couple of days of Gamescom, but for the most part I tried to keep it to news more immediately published.
I will try to limit the Legion talk as I’m sure there will be plenty of it in the coming weeks (especially as Blizzcon draws near). In fact I actually threw in some Rise of the Tombraider because it has some new footage really worth checking out. There is also Diablo III patch news, WildStar beta news, Heroes of the Storm latest PTR status and more. So take a break from trying to find that perfect Demon Hunter name and check out these great headlines. KCGO
Issue 68: It’s PAX East week so there will be several posts that talk about what was unveiled. The one everyone is really anxious about is Blizzard’s “Something New”. We already knew about the Diablo III PS4 migration so if you weren’t paying attention to the PAX news then I guess you will have to read on to find out what Blizzard unveiled (I’ll be honest though, its not really that epic).
Beyond that we have a couple of new tidbits about the upcoming Age of Wushu MMO (due out April 10th). The first piece of news about Patch 5.3 for World of Warcraft. A new MechWarrior Online trailer. And more!
