This was unveiled at last year’s Star Wars Celebration, and we knew the trailer was coming. This is the other trailer that was teased for today, and the one I am most excited for. Check out the Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord trailer.

This will be the last official trailer before the series premiers next month. I think I’ve said this before, this show looks like it will be something fun to watch. It should remind us of what drew us to Star Wars as a kid while drawing more young fans in.
For those of us who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s, this will feel like Goonies in space … and I’m here for it! This will be part of the official canon but I’m guessing we won’t see a lot of direct ties to the Skywalker Saga. I do expect a few Easter eggs/fan service elements.
I’m looking forward to it. I think it’s going to be fun.

This is the halfway point which means the climax of Act II. You can expect a major cliffhanger at the end of this episode. There will also be no more spoiler warnings from here on out. I’m going to assume you have been watching before reading and if you haven’t caught up then I’m not sure why you’re reading. Let’s recap and talk about Ahsoka Part Four.
Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang are stranded on Seatos. The enemy is on the brink of success and the New Republic is not interested in helping. It’s up to Ahsoka and Sabine to stop them. Also, this is another amazing soundtrack by Kevin Kiner.

This is the first episode that takes place after Season Four of Rebels. Part One and Part Two are technically still Season Four. They occur during the time jump at the end of the final episode. If you exclude the recap and credits, this is a shorter episode, less than a half hour. With that said, let’s talk about Ahsoka Part Three.

Now that we have begun the Part One discussion let’s get into the details for Ahsoka Part Two. This picks up not long after the duel at the end of the first episode in which someone again survives a “Qui-Gon Killer” (I just coined that). I mean that tongue-in-cheek because I really love the first episode.
Before I get too far into it, I want to quickly point out that this episode is directed by Steph Green instead of Filoni. She is not new to directing Star Wars, she directed the second episode of The Book of Boba Fett (one of my favorite episodes from that season). She has also directed one-off episodes from various other series including Watchmen, Luke Cage, Scandal, and Billions.

Since both episodes were released on the same day I originally intended to do one post discussing both. However, given the details of the episode and the easter eggs, you’re getting two. Let’s start by saying I loved Ahsoka Part One (and Part Two). This is an amazing episode to start a series. It felt like Rebels. It felt like Filoni.
