This was unveiled at last year’s Star Wars Celebration, and we knew the trailer was coming. This is the other trailer that was teased for today, and the one I am most excited for. Check out the Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord trailer.

This looks fantastic! Sam Witwer is back as the voice of Darth Maul. The plot seems to be that Maul is trying to rebuild a criminal syndicate, which means this takes place after Order 66 and before Rebels.

I love that this looks to be in the same animation style as The Bad Batch and looks just as gritty. This will be an episodic series on Disney+, but we don’t know how many episodes or how many seasons are planned. If I had to guess, we will get, at the most, 3 seasons. It might all depend on how successful it is.

Maul – Shadow Lord arrives April 6th only on Disney+.
