Issue 47
Welcome back, Gamers! We are on the brink of the next World of Warcraft expansion and ironically I found nothing really worth reporting about Mists of Pandaria this week. Of course by this point everyone pretty much knows what to expect. It will seem strange that we don’t have a Blizzcon this year, but everyone is going to be too entrenched into the expansion anyway.
This week Aion and SWTOR have made it back into the headlines and more news about The Secret World (especially if you have been waiting for a free trial). There is also more news about NCSoft’s efforts to bring Blade & Soul to the west and more content for DC Universe Online. I’ve also been hearing of more beta invites going out for MechWarrior Online, have you gotten yours? Read on and game on, friends!
TSW Three-Day Free Trial (with perks)
Posted 9/20/12 – Funcom is providing a very tantalizing offer for anyone that has an interest in trying out The Secret World. Interested persons can now try the game for free for three days, but wait, there’s more. If you complete 30 missions during your free trial your time will be extended to 5 days and receive some store cash. I think that’s pretty intriguing. Is anyone out there thinking about giving this a try? Follow the links to read more about it.

TSW Issue 2: Digging Deeper Officially Live
Posted 9/18/12 – After postponing the deployment of Digging Deeper twice, The Secret World players can now experience the newest content. The content patch has several bug fixes and quite a few new features including a group finder and a barbershop. I find it interesting that there isn’t any snide comments that TSW didn’t have the group finder tool at launch because that seemed to be all folks could focus on with SWTOR. Be that as it may, check out the following link to read more about this latest issue of content.
