Movie Trailer: Project Hail Mary

Over the summer, I read and reviewed the book, which also contains the teaser trailer for this movie. Well, the official trailer for the movie just came out this week, and you can check it out below.

Again, if you’ve never read this book, I highly recommend it. Once you’re done with that, then I recommend that you read The Martian next. In fact, I want to read the book again after watching that trailer, and I just finished it a few months ago.

I still like Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace; I think he’s going to crush the role. Some people are complaining that showing Rocky in the trailer ruins the surprise, but Rocky isn’t the plot of the book. He is critical to the plot, but he isn’t THE plot. I’m excited for this film which comes out in March, 2026.

Book Review of Project Hail Mary

Project Hail Mary book cover

Author: Andy Weir
Published: May 4, 2021
Genre: Science Fiction
My Rating:

Ryland Grace wakes up, alone, in a spaceship twelve light years away from Earth. He doesn’t remember how he got there, but he is humanity’s last hope to prevent the extinction of all life on Earth.

It has been a while since I have posted a book review, but I enjoyed this book so much that I had to write something about it. This is the first book written by Andy Weir that I have read. I enjoy his writing style, where he places you in the main character’s head. It isn’t just the wit and charm of the main character I enjoyed, I loved all the science. I’m a bit of a Physics nerd.
