Kenobi Part I & II

As I mentioned in a previous post, I was traveling on Friday so I did not get a chance to watch the first episodes until late. I wish I could have been at the Star Wars Celebration this year; I heard the first episode was seen by attendees in a rented theater at 9pm PST. Jealous. So let’s discuss Obi-Wan Kenobi Part I & II.

Before I get into spoilers I will provide a quick review. I liked the second episode better than the first but, over all, I really like both episodes. There are a few minor issues but they are mostly nit-picky.

ICYMI: Star Wars Andor Teaser Trailer!

What a pleasant surprise! I was not expecting this little gem to be released today. Just as we are all getting ramped up for the release of the Kenobi series tomorrow, we get an Andor teaser trailer!

Here it is. Enjoy!

At this point its a little too soon to make any predictions or assumptions. It looks exciting yet ominous. Let’s just enjoy it for what it is.

The Second Obi-Wan Kenobi Trailer!!

Disney has given us a Star Wars Day gift, the second (and final) Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer!! The Internet and TikTok will be broken today, just so you know.

ICYMI: The First Obi-Wan Kenobi Trailer

We have all been waiting so long for this moment and it’s finally here. This is the legit Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer for this series. I was watching the Disney Investor Day event live when this premiered! I literally jumped out of my chair!!

Enough talky, more watchy!

The series will be directed by Deborah Chow (who also directed a few episodes in The Mandalorian). The score for the series (if you hadn’t heard) is the legendary John Williams.

We all know that Hayden Christensen is back as Vader/Anakin but I also predict we will see Qui-Gon Jinn. Yoda did tell Obi-Wan (in Revenge of the Sith) that he will teach him how to commune with him through the Force. I have not found any official confirmation if this is going to happen and/or if Liam Neeson will reprise the role.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi limited series premieres May 25th on Disney+. You can bet I will be writing weekly posts about each episode as I’ve done for The Book of Boba Fett and The Mandalorian.
