We are less than a month away from the final season of Andor, and a new trailer has dropped. For the record, Andor was NOT cancelled. I’ve noticed people saying this on various social platforms, and it’s simply not true. Andor was only supposed to be two seasons per Tony Gilroy before the first season even aired. Be that as it may, here is the Andor Season 2 Final Trailer.
The first thing we notice is the music. While the first trailer featured “The Revolution Starts Now” by Steve Earle, this one features series composer Nicholas Britell‘s music. This trailer builds the intensity and drama of the season. We all know this leads up to the events of Rogue One and Cassian’s ultimate fate.
What Should We Expect?
As I mentioned in the post with the first trailer, we are likely to see the Ghorman massacre, which prompts Mon Mothma to resign from the Senate. Perhaps that is the scene we see in the trailer. We will see Cassian reprogram K-2SO and perhaps even Krennic’s obsession with Galen Erso and his Death Star project.

I still think we will see Grand Moff Tarkin because we know he’s pulling the strings. Maybe we will even see Emperor Palpatine. I think it would be cool to see Jimmy Smits reprise his role since Bail Organa was also instrumental in the creation of the Rebellion. On the other hand, Tony Gilroy has mentioned, on numerous occasions, that he won’t do unnecessary cameos.
We are probably going to see the deaths of a few of our favorite characters. I think Luthen has to die for the cause. He is the very definition of a tragic hero. I wouldn’t be surprised if we even see the deaths of Bix and Brasso. Regardless, this is going to be fun; I’m excited.
Since we are getting three episodes a week, I’m not sure how my after-show posts will look. I may just cover all three in one post or break it apart. A lot depends on the content and complexity of each episode.
