I’m not going to do a write-up for all The Bad Batch episodes as I’ve done for the live-action shows. However, I do want to drop some theories that I’ve come up with after watching the Bad Batch season three premiere. There shouldn’t be any major spoilers in the following supposition but I’m sure having seen all three episodes helps follow along.

It’s Not Just Cloning
My not-so-profound theory is that we will see the birth of strand-casting. Omega is the first candidate the Emporer hopes to use to begin the process of creating Force-sensitive strand casts. Perhaps we may even see the creation of Snoke. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what Hemlock and Palpatine were looking at in the third episode.
It could also be Dathan. What if Omega is the “source” for the creation of Rey’s father? I feel like this is plausible given the fact that Omega doesn’t exhibit any connection to the Force and Dathan also wasn’t Force-sensitive. However, if this is true then that doesn’t bode well for Omega’s fate at the end of this season.
If Omega’s DNA is insufficient then that would explain the Emperor’s interest in Grogu. So this season will have major tie-ins to the other series and movies. The mere mention of “Project Necromancer” already links it to Season 3 of The Mandalorian.
One more theory, or perhaps wishful thinking, is that we will see Tech again. I think Hemlock is keeping him locked up to use as bait. Given Omega and Crosshair’s escape and now that he knows how valuable Omega is, he may use Tech to try to capture her again.
