This year’s action/adventure selections have an unintended theme. I wonder if you know what it is. Watching these movies was long overdue for me, especially the latter. Here are July’s selections for 2023:
Summer always seems to be the time of year when I write the fewest posts. It might be the flurry of activities I have between work, vacations, and the fact that school isn’t in session. All of that is about to change. School begins again in a couple of weeks and the new Ahsoka series starts in about two weeks (I’m so excited!).
I’m also open to topic suggestions but there are a few rules about what I will and won’t write about. Typically the areas I focus on the most are Star Wars, gaming, technology, movies, and books. No politics or divisive topics. There is enough vitriol and gaslighting on the Internet and social media, I do not wish to add to it.
If you have some ideas please leave a comment below (remember, if you are leaving a comment for the first time, I have to approve it). You can also leave a reply on whichever social media platform you saw the link to this post. I’d really like to do more technology posts (since that’s what I spend most of my days doing), I just lack topics.

I’ll be honest, I’m not the biggest fan of social media. They began as a means to stay connected with friends and colleagues and allows us to expand beyond our borders. Lately, however, people only use it to whine and complain about the latest movie or political fiasco. It can also harbor creeps and perverts, so I’m careful, especially on Facebook. In honor of Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine (for Deadpool 3), I decided to focus on Marvel for superhero month (2023). I am a much bigger fan of the Marvel universe than DC. This post is a couple of weeks late as I was on vacation. Here are the Wolverine-themed movies on this list for June 2023:
The newest Ahsoka trailer was released this week. I was expecting a new trailer soon given how close we are to the premiere date. This trailer is loaded with first looks from live-action Thrawn to purrgil. In case you missed it, here it is to watch it repeatedly.
There are rumors that Hayden Christensen may be in this series, probably returning as a Force ghost. I am very excited for this series and we are getting two episodes on the first day!

I cannot believe it is already almost July especially given how rough of a start to the year I had. January just seemed to have dragged on. June means it’s time to check in on my goals for the year. I will cover the three main areas I always focus on each year: health goals, reading goals, and technical goals.
The fact that June is nearly over before this post demonstrates how busy things on, especially now that the summer has begun. The rate at which the year is progressing is also affecting the completion of my goals.
