Office Romance poster

Directed by: Ol Parker

Release Date: June 5, 2026
Runtime: 1h 54m
My Rating:

Daniel (Goldstein) is a new lawyer for the CEO (Lopez) of an airline. His arrival tests the limits of a zero-tolerance employee fraternization policy.

I’m not much of a RomCom guy, but I’ve seen clips from this movie, and Brett Goldstein is a great writer. Comedy is still one of my favorite film genres, even if there is a bit of romance intertwined.

Don’t go into this movie thinking it’s some Hollywood masterpiece; it’s just a fun film. I thought the writing was good and the acting was great. There are a couple of moments that catch you completely off guard. It doesn’t really matter (to me) that they obviously used CGI for those moments, but they are merely glimpses for the shock factor … and they will shock you.

There are some great names in the supporting cast. Edward James Olmos (So Say We All), Bradley Whitford, Jodie Whittaker, Roger Bart, and Tony Hale. Tony Hale plays the company’s HR guy who has to enforce the policy, and his facial expressions provide great comic relief.

If you’re looking for a solid laugh with some romance, I’d recommend this movie. It’s a good “date night” movie.

Office Romance is currently available on Netflix.
