Annual Turkey Mastication Event

The two best things about Thanksgiving is Turkey and Football. After overindulging in a glorious Thanksgiving feast of turkey, pumpkin pie and other delicious trimmings, the next best thing is to sit down and watch some football while the tryptophan kicks in.

It has been a long standing tradition that the Dallas Cowboys treat us all to a post-Thanksgiving meal on the gridiron. Unfortunately for them I rarely root for their success (unless they are playing the Patriots).

At any rate, the actual intention of this post is to wish everyone (and your families) a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

/Cheers

Best. Quote. Ever.

“Being a geek is all about being honest about what you enjoy
and not being afraid to demonstrate that affection.
It means never having to play it cool about how much
you like something.
It’s basically a license to proudly emote on a somewhat
childish level rather that behave like a supposed adult.
Being a geek is extremely liberating.”
Simon Pegg

Delayed

So it has been a while since I have posted, last I told everyone we landscaped the front of the house. It’s been a little busy, so much football to watch, so much WoW to play, you know … the important things. We discovered Red Box recently, a dollar a day for a movie … you know what that means … time to fire up the old DVD burner. Time to go, tonight we are hitting Trial of the Crusader, hopefully we will take out Anub’arak tonight … that would be most excellent.

Plants

It has probably been 10-15 years since I have planted anything in the ground – this past weekend my parents drove down and we landscaped the front of the house, we planted 21 plants. The front of the house looks great, we still need mulch, but it looks 1000x better … and I can barely move. Thank God I went to the doctor who refilled my Ultracet prescription.
