Star Wars: The Subtle, and Brilliant, Connections

For nearly two decades there has been seven new movies and two animated series (with more on the way). There are trivial details that link all of them and the brilliance lies in the minutiae. The subtle, and brilliant, connections Disney brings to the franchise is outstanding and fascinating. Perhaps “connection” might be a misnomer, considering some of these items are so subtle they’re more like “Easter Eggs”. I’ll get into that later. Movie Review - Solo: A Star Wars Story

Solo: A Star Wars Story Directed By: Ron Howard Starring: Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, Emilia Clarke My Rating:  Let’s face it, this movie was doomed from the moment it was announced. It’s poor opening weekend is as lackluster as the fan reaction of the original announcement. Critics are all pathetic so I could care less what they think; and I generally ignore the fare-weather fans.
